Rompetrol Rafinare, a member company of KMG International, registered in the first nine months of the year an increase by over 44% of its gross turnover, as compared to the ratio reached in the similar period of 2017, up to a level of USD 4.1 billion.

On February 5, 2019, the Annual Management Meeting of KMG International (Group or KMGI) took place, presenting the results of the Group's activity in 2018 and defining the main medium-term objectives.

Rompetrol Rafinare, a member of the KMG International Group, had remarkable operational performances in 2018 for their two refineries - Petromidia Năvodari and Vega Ploieşti, but also for the Petrochemicals Division on the Midia industrial platform, against the backdrop of increased market volatility, especially in the fourth quarter of the year that passed.

Rompetrol Rafinare, part of the KMG International Group, managed in 2019 to maintain a positive trend in terms of operational results, with record values ​​for processed raw materials, fuel production and sales on the domestic market.

Rompetrol - KMG International continues to support the Romanian health system in the context of the COVID19 pandemic by donating fuel for emergency medical transport, financing research and purchasing equipment and medical supplies for the medical units in the communities where we operate.

KMG International, under Rompetrol brand, concluded a partnership with the National Society for Red Cross Romania to buy a mobile intensive care unit with 12 beds, in the value of USD 264,930, which will be donated to the Department for Emergency Situations (IGSU), as part of the national strategic reserve for civil protection, being used during the pandemic to offer rapid support where mostly needed.

Rompetrol has launched the 20th edition of the "Ready for a Career" internship program, aimed at young people who want to pursue a career in the oil and gas industry.

Today, the Kazakh-Romanian Energy Investment Fund (FIEKR) signed with Calik Enerji (Turkey) the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contract for the turnkey construction of the cogeneration plant on the Petromidia platform.

The “Career Ready” internship program, developed by KMG International (Rompetrol) and now in its twentieth edition, was finalized through an online gala. Thus, 55 students and recent graduates went through a program designed to professionally develop them for a career in the oil processing industry.
