The KMG International (Rompetrol) Group has joined the Diversity Charter, following the signing of the declaration by which the member companies undertake to promote and develop organizational diversity.

The approach involves the application of a set of 7 principles that develop an inclusive culture, emphasizing progress, creativity and innovation.

Rompetrol continues to support the development of emergency intervention systems through the acquisition of state-of-the-art devices for medical helicopters. This equipment facilitates a wide range of on-site medical investigations and advanced digital communication with medical centers throughout the country. The total value of the project is $180,000.

Rompetrol publishes its 2022 Sustainability Report, marking a decade of transparent reporting in accordance with the GRI international standards. The report details the company’s efforts to advance environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) journey and bears the assurance of an auditing firm.

KMG International (Rompetrol) is launching the 22nd edition of the "Career Ready" program, in which 80 students and recent graduates will take part, selected following a complex recruitment process, carried out between May and July. For two months, interns will complete practical and theoretical modules that will refine their knowledge of the oil and gas industry.

Rompetrol publishes its eighth sustainability report, drafted according to international reporting standards and shows the environmental, social, governance and market performance of the Group for the 2021 interval; the report bears the assurance of an audit firm. 

 

Kazakhstan National Oil and Gas Company – KazMunayGas (KMG) consolidates its presence and development perspectives in the Black Sea Region by appointing Azamat Zhangulov as Chairman of KMGI Board of Directors and Ilyas Kuldzhanov as Chief Executive Officer of KMG International (KMGI).  KMG is the sole shareholder of the KMG International Group.

Rominserv, the general contractor of the KMG International Group (Rompetrol), is the company that successfully coordinated the turnaround of the Petromidia refinery, which took place between March 11 and April 3. The quality of the work performed during this turnaround leads to increased safety conditions and the efficient operation of the production units.

Rompetrol Rafinare, a member company of the KMG International Group (Rompetrol), recently completed a 4.2 million USD investment in the modernization of the Vacuum Distillation Plant (DV) within the Vega Ploieşti refinery. The project will help to improve operational processes and will also have a positive impact in terms of increasing the protection of the environment.

In the context of the recent incident in the port of Novorossiysk, which affected the ability to load crude oil from the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) pipeline, KMG International Group confirms that it does not experience difficulties in supplying raw materials and there are no elements that could lead, in the next period, to a reduction in the volume of oil products and deliveries at national level, but also in the region.

During this night (6th of March), Rompetrol faced a complex cyber-attack. We are in constant contact with the National Directorate of Cyber Security (DNSC) and fully involved to resolve the situation.
